Neither fish nor fowl, this eclectic programme of narrative shorts resists easy categorisation. Slipping between genres and sidestepping convention, these films inhabit the spaces in between—where the absurd meets the familiar, and where humour softens the strange, and where personal everyday lives unfold in supernatural ways. Spanning an international range of languages and landscapes, the programme crosses borders both geographical and cinematic, from the bull rings of Spain to the hidden rooms of Iran.
