Safer Hull Modern Day Slavery Awareness Event

Working together to identify, prevent and respond to modern slavery through partnership, learning and best practice. Event Overview Join partners from across Hull and the Humber region for the Safer Hull Modern Day Slavery (MDS) Awareness Event, bringing together professionals and wider partners to increase understanding of modern slavery, strengthen partnership working, and share best practice in identifying and supporting victims. This event will provide attendees with valuable insight into the realities of modern slavery through expert presentations, lived experience case studies, and local partnership approaches. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about current challenges, emerging trends, and the collective response required to tackle exploitation within our communities. The Event Will Include: • Welcome and opening address • Presentations from partner agencies and subject matter experts • A case study exploring the impact of exploitation and the multi-agency response • Insights from organisations supporting victims and survivors • Opportunities for networking and partnership development • Guided tours of the historic Wilberforce House grounds and gardens Who Should Attend?
