Abertarff House Christmas Wreath Workshop

Join us for a wreath making workshop in Inverness' oldest house using greenery and foliage picked directly from the Culloden Battlefield. In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll craft a beautiful wreath using leaves, berries, and other decorations sourced directly from the historic Culloden Battlefield. All materials needed to make a wreath will be provided, and you’ll be guided by our team to create this one-of-a-kind decoration. By the end of the workshop, you’ll be an expert wreath maker and have a beautiful and meaningful wreath to decorate your house for the festive season! Enjoy mince pies and a cuppa to go along with this cosy afternoon - all with a stunning wreath to take home. What we provide: • foliage, greenery, and berries (when available) all picked from the battlefield • gloves • a metal ring base • ribbon • tools to cut, snip, and decorate your wreath • mince pies and refreshments As a conservation site, we do not offer any plastic decorative pieces for the wreath, and we also cannot guarantee colourful bits of foliage will be on offer as it depends on mother nature. However, you are welcome to bring your own extra pieces to decorate your wreath on top of the foliage provided. Tickets are limited, so reserve your spot soon! Parking is free when you show the parking attendant your Eventbrite reservation.
