Slow for a Poet - Inverness Album Listening Event

Come and listen to Rhuari's new album in a beautiful space, where it was recorded, out in the wild. Meet at Craig Dunain Cemetery, where I will introduce the event and tell you a little about the making of the album. We will then use headphones on our own devices to listen to the album. People are welcome to wander the area or find a space to sit. The album is just over 30 minutes. Please remember to bring headphones and dress appropriately for the weather and the environment. You may also wish to bring a torch. A link will be sent to your email to download the album onto your phone. This will be sent out an hour and a half before the start of each event. Please check that the download has worked and let me know if there are any issues. Try not to listen to the album before the event. I’m keen for the first time you hear the album to be in this environment. I have been writing and recording an album over the last year while travelling around Scotland and England, playing gigs. It can be a tough job at times, being away from home for long periods of time, living out of a van, and performing most days. So, to maintain my health, I always ensured I had time to be in nature and to be creative. These themes all appear in the album, along with sounds of nature I picked up along the way.
