Mindful Walk & Zine Making at Springmead Garden

The workshop is run by Faye Rathe and Lottie Dabrowa, experienced workshop fascilitators in wellbeing and creativity. The workshop starts with a slow meditative walk through the garden and will continue in the polytunnel where we will think about words and images, producing a zine. What is a zine? A zine is a small booklet you make yourself. It can include anything you want. In this workshop Faye and Lottie will support you to explore how to make one. If you like doing arts and crafts or writing making a zine is probably something you would enjoy. Who is this workshop for? Anyone interested in getting outdoors with others, exploring the local area and getting creative together. No prior experience needed, all levels welcome. This event is perfect for anyone interested in finding out more about Springmead Gardens and trying a new creative activity. Please note: • This workshop is wheelchair accesible. • There is a porta loo, but it is not accesible for wheelchairs. • There is free parking on the streets around the garden. • Refreshments are included. • We want to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
