Experience Community Fewston & Swinsty Reservoir Ramble

We will be leading a Social Ramble around Fewston & Swinsty Our next ramble will be at Yorkshire Water Fewston & Swinsty Reservoir. Swinsty Reservoir can be found in the Washburn valley, less than 10 miles north of Otley and west of Harrogate. Along with the adjacent Fewston Reservoir, it is a very popular site for visitors throughout the year. There's plenty of choice for those seeking recreation in the great outdoors; whether you’re looking for a gentle stroll around the well-surfaced reservoir paths or a wander through the nearby fields and woods. We will meet at 11am for an 11.30am start. There are several accessible parking spaces and accessible toilets. We will stop to have a packed lunch so it is worth bringing food and drinks. People who use other types of off-road mobility equipment are welcome to join the ramble, however, the route has only been checked using a Mountain Trike and access cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us to discuss this prior to booking. This route will be around 10km long, therefore one of our longer routes. The terrain will be grassland and well-surfaced paths.
