Good beats and girl power... let’s DJ, dance, and network all night long! Interested in DJing, electronic music or music production—and want to connect with other women in the Leeds music scene? Girls’ Night In! is a welcoming, female-only DJ and networking event for women of all experience levels. Whether you’re stepping behind the decks for the first time or you’re an experienced DJ looking to practise, perform and meet others, the evening is designed to feel open, supportive and inclusive. You’ll have access to professional DJ equipment across multiple studio spaces, with opportunities for open decks, informal networking and shared listening in a relaxed setting. New: One-to-One Tutor Taster Sessions For the first time, we’re offering 30-minute one-to-one taster sessions with an Academy94 tutor. Choose either DJing or music production—perfect for beginners looking for guided, hands-on experience. Both taster-session tickets include an optional Open Deck Slot. You can play a DJ set during the evening if you wish, and you do not need to purchase a separate Open Deck ticket. Tickets General Admission – £5: Enjoy the event, meet other women in the local music community and explore the studio spaces. Open Deck Slot – £6: Includes event admission and an opportunity to play a DJ set using professional equipment. 30-Minute DJ Taster with Tutor – £15: Includes event admission, a 30-minute one-to-one introduction to DJing and an optional Open Deck Slot. 30-Minute Music Production Taster with Tutor – £15: Includes event admission, a 30-minute one-to-one introduction to music production and an optional Open Deck Slot. Tutored taster sessions and Open Deck Slots have limited availability, so advance booking is recommended. A welcoming and supportive space for women from all backgrounds.
