Full description from organizerShow less
A rip roaring night of classic Rhythm and Blues music. The Hi-Stakes is a hyperactive hyped hip Rhythm ‘n’ Blues band based in Amsterdam. Original tunes, with lyrics full of irony and passion, played authentically from a vast range of popular genres of the time, be it a Blue Note Records’ boogaloo or an explosive old school rhythm ‘n blues number; in other words, their repertoire (entirely original) covers anything in between the jazz and the blues worlds. Sam Ghezzi : vocals, tenor saxophone Linus Eppinger : guitar Frank Groenendijk : tenor saxophone Cesar Puente : upright bass Joe Korach : drums Limited Tickets Available on the door. Doors open at 7pm. Over 18's only. Check out thedomino.co.uk or call 0113 513 2086 for more info.
