Strength in Numbers: Community Day

Visual art, poetry, music, photography, storytelling and soundscape. What are the stories we wish we had the space to tell? What do we want to say? How do we get people to listen? Strength in Numbers celebrates the importance of being heard and the power in finding your people. Join us at MTG Studios on the final day of Strength in Numbers to experience this immersive multi-artform installation. There will be creative activities on offer to add your voice to the movement, free food and drinks, and opportunities to find out how to get more involved. Through visual art, film, poetry, music, photography, storytelling and soundscape, Strength in Numbers invites you into our community to listen and find shared experiences. You’ll hear calls for change, see celebrations of togetherness, and experience the power of creative spaces that build community. Strength in Numbers represents a collective of voices. All work has been co-created with learning disabled and autistic people from across Bradford who are part of Mind the Gap’s community programme. Access at MTG Studios: There will be a quiet space available. MTG Studios is wheelchair accessible. There is a lift to all floors. There are accessible toilets on all floors and a changing places facility. You can see a video tour of our studios here. Please tell us if you have any other access requirements in relation to this event. If you need support booking a ticket, give us a call on 01274 487390 or email us at [email protected].
