An Evening with the Untraditional Melton Folk Collective

We're back at Somerby church for another epic night of cutting-edge folk music featuring 4 of Leicestershire's finest groups. This year’s Evening with the Untraditional Melton Folk Collective will prove to be even more memorable than last year’s as not only will it be warmer; but there’ll be more of us and we’re going all nautical!! Preamble a multi-talented three-piece act will be bringing the sounds of the Summer of Love back to Somerby. Andy Griffiths & Josie Allen will be yet again enchanting you with their thought-provoking melodic charms. The Picked Pixies will once again shock you with their chaotic avante-garde punk folk. Plus this year we’ll be joined by The Unruly Crew who will be parading their infamous and irreverent sea shanties for us. So, grab your friends, family (along with any stray passersby you may happen upon), and come on down for a night you won't forget!
