In Person Workshop: Exploring Embroidery Embellishment (Nottingham)

With Hannah Glossop, exploring creative approaches to surface design at the Hobbycraft in Nottingham on 20 March at 10:00am This workshop introduces a fun and accessible technique for upcycling clothing and accessories. Ideal for those wanting to experiment with more image-based designs and silhouettes in a playful way through hands-on experimentation with hand embroidery techniques and beading. Attendees will build exciting textures and patterns, exploring creative approaches to surface design. By the end of the session, attendees will have developed a playful way to embellish and upcycle textiles. Your Tutor Hannah Glossop is an award-winning textile designer and embroidery artist. She adores experimenting with vibrant colour and engaging 3D textiles. She has a first-class honours degree in Textile Design and specialises in Mixed media. She loves creating textural and stimulating pieces that reuse materials in an engaging and playful way.
