Meet the ESOL Team

Join Lincoln College for coffee and cake. Meet ESOL staff and students, explore our courses and discover progression opportunities Join us at Lincoln College on the evening of Monday the 9th November for an informal coffee and cake evening for prospective ESOL students, their parents and carers, and school staff who support learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL). This is a relaxed opportunity to meet our friendly ESOL teachers and support staff, chat with current students and discover what studying ESOL at Lincoln College is like. During the evening, you will be able to: • Meet our ESOL teachers, support staff and current students. • Explore our learning spaces and see where students study. • Ask questions about our ESOL programmes, support and progression opportunities. • Find out more about college life and what to expect as an ESOL student. Parents and carers are warmly welcome, whatever their level of English. If you or your family have little or no English, please don't worry — we want everyone to feel comfortable, welcome and able to take part. We would also love to welcome school teachers, EAL leads and coordinators, EAL support assistants, careers advisers and other colleagues who work with EAL learners. The evening will be a great opportunity to learn more about our provision, discuss progression routes and strengthen links between local schools and Lincoln College. Come along for a friendly chat, a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. We look forward to meeting you!
