Book Art workshop - Japanese Bookbinding

Join this hands-on workshop to create a hardback Japanese Album and softback Butterfly Book. No previous experience is needed Led by artist, Ciarrai Samson, this hands-on workshop explores two traditional Japanese book structures. During the session, participants will create their own hardback Japanese Album and softback Butterfly Book, working with paper, card and simple construction techniques. No previous experience is needed, just come along and make some books. Ciarrai Samson is a Leeds based artist working across photography, print, artist books and zines. She facilitates hands-on creative workshops. Her workshops are relaxed, accessible and focused on learning through making and experimentation.
