Let's sew with Abakhan! . Now that you've created your pattern in our Copy Your Own Clothes class, it's time to bring it to life. In this follow-up class, you'll use your drafted pattern to sew a practice version of your chosen garment. Working with inexpensive fabric, such as sheeting or lining fabric, allows you to test the fit, refine your construction techniques, and make any pattern adjustments before sewing in your final fabric. By the end of the class, you'll have a wearable toile (test garment) and the confidence to recreate your favourite garment again and again. I specialised in Bridal and Aerial wear, so from satin to stretch. I decided during the lock down that it was time to shut up the studio and concentrate on my teaching.
