A magical evening in the woods exploring emotion, creative shadow work, feminine wisdom, ritual and reconnection in our women’s circle. Come and gather with us in the woods for a beautiful evening of reflection, creativity, connection and gentle ritual as we journey into the Western direction of the Medicine Wheel. 🌊🍂 The West invites us into the element of Water — the realm of emotion, intuition, release, the unconscious and the parts of ourselves we may have learned to hide. As autumn begins its own journey inward, we'll gather at Halkyn Castle Woods to do the same. This isn't about fixing yourself, forcing emotional breakthroughs or digging into trauma. It's an invitation to slow down, get curious, reconnect with yourself and explore what might be ready to be acknowledged, expressed or gently released. We'll begin by getting cosy around the circle with warm drinks and blankets before Jane guides us through a gentle introduction to creative shadow work and the Witch Wound — exploring some of the ways women have learned to suppress their voices, intuition, emotions, creativity and power, and what it can mean to begin reclaiming those parts of ourselves. We'll then move out of our heads and into creative expression, using simple art and reflection to explore The Woman I Learned to Hide and what may now be ready to be reclaimed. As evening falls around us, we'll gather around our Water altar for a symbolic emotional-release ritual, followed by a collaborative women's ceremony incorporating energy work, Reiki and the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki / Rite of the Womb, offered by Jane as a Womb Keeper. Participation is always by invitation and choice. You are equally welcome to receive, witness or simply sit within the circle. We'll also explore the changing seasonal landscape and the old ways of marking these thresholds, including an introduction to Samhain and its themes of endings, remembrance, ancestry and the descent into winter. You'll leave with a simple Samhain practice to experience at home as we move deeper into the darker months. You don't need to identify as spiritual, Pagan or a witch. Everything we explore is offered as an invitation to be curious about your own relationship with nature, cycles, creativity, intuition and something bigger than yourself. Places should be limited to keep the circle intimate and allow time for everyone who wishes to receive the individual ceremonial element.
