Join The Old Courts Upstairs at Fitzpatrick's for our next Nowt Without Artists. We're upstairs in Fitzpatrick's for our latest Nowt Without Artists and let us be clear - it's jam packed! Doors 19:30. 20:00 - 20:30 Margaret Heavy three piece from Wigan blending spoken word groovy beats and heavy distorted guitar riffs. 20:45 - 21:15 Vienna Assembly Hailing from Wigan, Vienna Assembly bringing alternative rock fused with melodic indie. 21:30 - 22:00 Midnight Swim Formed in Greater Manchester, Midnight Swim have been turning their messy emotions into loud, hook-heavy anthems since 2023. Blending sharp guitars and glossy melodies, their sound lands somewhere between Paramore, The Maine and You Me At Six, reviving the best of the early 2000s scene and bringing it bang up to date with super polished modern pop production. Since forming in 2023, Midnight Swim have shared stages with Deaf Havana, Emarosa, WSTR, Arm’s Length, Beauty School and Thomas Nicholas Band, most recently playing alongside Young Culture, Happy Daze and Punk Rock Factory. 22:15- Lazy Rays Lazy Rays are a five-piece band from Burscough in the North West of England, blending emotive songwriting with a broad musical palette. Fronted by vocalist Elizabeth, alongside Dave and Leon on guitar, Ben on bass and Sam on drums, the band craft songs that balance intimacy with energy and scale. At the heart of Lazy Rays’ sound are Elizabeth’s heartfelt lyrics and distinctive vocals, woven together with the diverse influences the rest of the band bring to the table. As the primary lyricist, Elizabeth draws inspiration from lived experience: past relationships both good and bad, moments of personal tragedy, and the simple act of stepping back to observe an increasingly chaotic world. These honest reflections are carried by melodic, flowing arrangements ranging from quiet vulnerability to uplifting, guitar-led highs. Please note, this gig takes place upstairs at Fitzpatrick's, across the road from The Old Courts. The venue is accessible via a flight of stairs.
