TWELFTH NIGHT - PurpleDoor Double Bill

Two of Shakespeare's greatest plays. One epic ensemble. Don't miss PurpleDoor's 18th birthday celebration. Reviving their 2014 Twelfth Night On Tour, PurpleDoor bring back to life Shakespeare's most perfect play. A magical blend of high comedy and deep melancholy, Twelfth Night picks up where Hamlet left off, set deep in the midst of 90's rave culture, in a world which has fallen in love too much with its own imagination. The North West is transformed, the horrors of the 80s are long forgotten, but bitterness still remains and all is not what it seems. After a sell-out UK and Ireland tour in 2014/15, Twelfth Night is revived with a completely new cast in tendem with Hamlet, as part of PurpleDoor's 18th birthday celebrations. Reviews from the original production: 'Full of heart and humour, PurpleCOat have us in the palm of their hands.' Should you get a chance to see more of PurpleCoat's work, I would highly recommend that you don't miss it.'
