ABRC: AFTER HOURS AT THE CRICK!

ABRC (Anti-Brainrot Club) heads to The Crick for a special intellectual evening of science, creativity, history, and unexpected discoveries! What makes you, you? We'll be visiting the We Go Way Back exhibition after hours, exploring identity, connection and belonging through pop-up talks, hands-on workshops, creative activities and encounters with scientists. Make your own shadow puppet, get creative with collage, turn thoughts into verse in a poetry workshop, or unearth plague, pandemics and some of history’s most unwelcome visitors in a panel discussion with leading experts. You’ll also get the chance to chat with the scientists behind ancient DNA research. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a science geek, or just want to sink into a rabbit hole for the evening and socialise with like-minded strangers, there's something for everyone! Entry On The Day: Please show your Luma QR code for check-in. All tickets include access to the exhibition, activities, and a complimentary drink token (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) which you can collect upon arrival. You will be able to collect a nametag at check-in to write your name down and identify other ABRC attendees throughout the evening (as this event will also be open to other people)! We will wait by the entrance till 6:15 PM. Don't worry if you arrive later, you can just go in, collect your nametag, and find us! Disclaimers: 18+. If you cannot make the event, please cancel your registration so we can have an accurate estimate of numbers and find someone else to take your spot. If you do need to cancel, please do this no later than Monday, October 12 by 12 PM. If you have trouble doing this, please contact us via email on [email protected]. If there are no more tickets left, you may join the Waitlist and we will inform you if someone drops out. We cannot guarantee entry but we do tend to have dropouts close to the event date.
