AI Founders Breakfast Club. Saturday 26th September

What is it? The ​​Saturday morning club is a structured meet up and co-working session for exceptional people who are in a full-time job but want to found a startup. Or are building their startup alongside employment. Its purpose is to introduce people to potential co-founders, launch part-time projects, and fund people so they can go from part-time to full-time. Saturday morning club is only for people who are serious. It’s not a talking shop; we will screen for commitment, and will only continue to invite and support people if they demonstrate sincerity and progress on the task of starting a company. We will be highly selective; only people we think could be exceptional founders will be invited. Who is it for? You are a domain expert with probably 10+ years of industry experience. You are at idea stage or have founded your company but are in employment and are looking to go full time on your company by January You will certainly drop out of your full time job if your startup gets funding.Founders who are already full time on their company will be considered but first access goes to those who are still working and therefore need this Saturday opportunityYou are building across:Financial services Legal & Accounting Saas / B2B enterprise Data & Analytics AIDeeptech RecruitmentDentistry Marketing & Branding Why are we doing this?We believe that the best domain experts can learn to build companies but don't always display classic founder traits or skills such as the ability or connections to fundraise easily We want to make companies happen that otherwise wouldn’t. We think that the most urgent way to build a company is to be full-time from the beginning, and this is how our core product is structured. But we recognise that this doesn’t work for some people - for example, people who have financial obligations that make it hard to live off our stipend, or others who don’t want to make the leap without finding a co-founder first. Our bet is that there are exceptional people who won’t drop out of their jobs immediately, but could build great companies by finding the right co-founder and making progress initially on the side. What does this process look like? In January we will be making 4 £250k portfolio investments. Whilst we want to make it very clear that engaging with these event series and our wider events and community does not guarantee likelihood of investment due to the competitive nature of working with TRAMLINES, we will say that we are more likely to invest in founders who we've worked with over the next few months via these events to see how you operate and execute What is TRAMLINES A venture infrastructure company, accelerator, and consultancy at the heart of British technology innovation.
