DDQ Hot Rooms: A private Angels Den Hot Room for investor evaluation. This is a sector-focused due diligence session, delivered in partnership with leading investors and operators across healthcare and life sciences. The room is intentionally intimate, with a maximum of 15 attendees, bringing together a curated group of 5–10 angel investors for in-depth investor evaluation. Two high-growth founders. No audience. No noise. Each founder has 12 minutes to present, followed by a live, candid DDQ-style interrogation. Expect the kind of discussion that usually happens after the pitch—clinical validation, regulatory pathways, reimbursement models, commercial traction, financials, data room gaps, market timing, founder quality, valuation, adoption challenges, risks and what would need to be true for investors to invest. Ahead of the session, investors receive a concise diligence pack covering the company's data room, financials, traction, clinical evidence, regulatory position, market landscape and key investment questions. The objective is for everyone to arrive informed, allowing the discussion to go deeper, faster. The format is intentionally closer to an Investment Committee discussion than a demo day. Following each founder presentation, investors openly debate the opportunity around the table, sharing perspectives from venture capital, angel investing, healthcare and operating experience.
