Surrounded by every kind of human, you'll get hot, high, sweaty and maybe even a little sticky - and yes, we promise we're still talking about SoulCycle. The euphoria of a SoulCycle class is unreal. The beat, the collective sweat, the moments of introspection and the feeling that, for 45 minutes, absolutely nothing else matters. Oh, and did we mention it does wonders for the glutes? 🍑😉 But this special class, hosted by the Attitude Foundation, is a little different. It’s XTRA GAY. 💅 The Attitude Foundation, the charity arm of Attitude Magazine, is taking over SoulCycle Soho for a special charity ride in support of LGBTQ+ causes. The Attitude Foundation is a UK charity that shamelessly raises funds to boldly back the incredible individuals, organisations and charities working relentlessly to make life fairer, safer and more joyful for LGBTQ+ people. And this is a particularly special event. It’s the first one led by the Attitude Foundation’s new CEO, Oliver Pike, who is very excited to combine his love of fitness with the charity’s mission to shamelessly raise funds and pay it forward. He likes to think of himself as a sort of gay(er) Robin Hood. MAXIMUM QUEERNESS 🩷 Holding our hand the whole way will be SoulCycle Master Instructor MJ. And he cannot wait to make this one XTRA gay... “My favourite thing about SoulCycle is that it invites everyone to show up exactly as they are - their true, authentic selves. I work hard to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, welcome, strong and empowered, while celebrating LGBTQIA+ artists and queer culture through the music I play. So this ride is going to be gay AF! I’m so excited to welcome new faces to SoulCycle, bring people together and raise lots of money for an amazing charity.” As for the playlist? We’ve asked MJ to make it unapologetically queer. Think Kylie, Madonna, Troye Sivan, MUNA and plenty more LGBTQ+ icons. All you need to do is book a bike, show up and ride. You’ll sweat. You’ll probably scream-sing. You might briefly question every decision that led you to that bike. But most importantly, you’ll be raising money for LGBTQ+ people and causes that need our support. BOOKING 🚲 Studio bikes start with a minimum donation of £20, and anything you’re able to give on top is hugely appreciated. I mean... we’re thinking £25+, but we’re not here to judge. We’re just here to shamelessly raise as much money as possible for incredible LGBTQ+ causes. 🙃 Can’t stretch to £20? We still want you with us. Grab a virtual bike and pay what you can. 🩷 AND THERE’S MORE... 🎁 Because getting hot and sweaty for a good cause apparently wasn’t enough, everyone who grabs a studio bike will automatically be entered into our rather fabulous prize draw, with prizes including: 🚲 SoulCycle credits 🔈 Sony Wireless Speaker 🎭 Two tickets to The Hunger Games: On Stage 🎁 More prizes to be announced! No extra ticket required. Just grab a bike and you’re automatically entered into the draw. 🤞 And everyone riding with us in person will leave with some XTRA GAY goodies too. Because no one should leave a basement in Soho sweaty and empty-handed. AFTERS 🍸 And seeing as we’re already in Soho... surely we’ve earned some afters? 🍸💅 Consider it part of the cool-down. CAN’T MAKE THE DATE? 😝 Or maybe spin just isn’t your thing? 😅 Don’t fret. Grab a virtual bike instead. We’ll send you MJ’s XTRA GAY playlist so you can vibe out in your own way, wherever you are! Come for the cause. Stay for the glutes. 🍑 🦁 Fearless. 💋 Shameless. ⚡️ Forward. We ride. ✉️ Contact Oliver at [email protected] if you have any questions.
