Bat Walk & Survey along the River Wandle

Join us for an evening walk along the River Wandle! Explore the great outdoors and discover local bats in action. We will start at Merton Abbey Mills (by the River Wandle Community Garden) and walk along the River Wandle towards Deen City Farm, where we'll look for and listen to bats. You will learn how to use bat detectors to hear their distinctive echolocation calls. Additionally, we will participate in the Bat Conservation Trust's (BCT) National Bat Monitoring Programme - Sunset Survey. This event is perfect for those with no previous bat surveying experience.
