A BOOK SWAP WITH A CRAFTY TWIST Join Steph from Minuet Workshop (creator of Read Receipts) and Beth, Morocco Bound's resident designer and book curator, for a crafty, social book swap workshop. Gather in our cosy Bermondsey venue to explore book cover design, get creative, and connect with fellow book lovers over a drink. CRAFT + SWAP: WHAT TO EXPECT REDESIGN: Give your chosen book a new visual twist by designing an alternate book cover using our craft materials, retwriting the blurb, or creating a sense of mystery for the new reader. REVIEW: Fill out a Read Receipt (a physical record of your thoughts and reading journey) to tuck inside the pages. SWAP: Wrap up your book, add a gift tag, and swap it with a fellow guest so your book's journey and your thoughts continue into the book eco-system. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING A book you genuinely loved and want to share. Maybe you've always wanted to redesign the cover? It should be in good, readable condition. WHAT'S PROVIDED All basic crafting supplies: Paper, pens, crayons, magazines, and other creative bits. OPTIONAL Any specific, specialist crafting materials you personally want to use or share. NEED INSPO OF WHAT BOOK TO BRING? Purchase a MYSTERY BOOK TICKET to receive an MB recc (RRP £10.99/9.99) to read ahead of the event and bring back to swap!
