Drowning - London Premiere

Join us for the London Premiere of DROWNING, a psychological sci-fi short film, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers & cast. Set within a near-future NHS, Drowning follows Elle (Baker), a frontline nurse battling an unravelling mind while fighting for her patients in a broken healthcare system. Made by Cut + Roll Films in association with Silvermilk Productions (Heavyweight), with full post-production sponsorship from LipSync (The Brutalist), Nicholas Pinnock (Fightland) as Executive Producer, and in partnership with PTSD UK, the film was directed by Reiff Gaskell (Cuerpos), produced by Alice Duke (The Roads to Carbon Neutral), and stars Rebecca Baker (Juice) alongside Amelia Bullmore (The Buccaneers), Kola Bokinni (Ted Lasso), Sophia Myles (Transformers: Age of Extinction), Giles Surridge (Blue Moon), Tom Victor (Mary & George), Helene Maksoud (Silo), Sharif Afifi (The Bombing of Pan Am 103) and Elle Strange (Casualty).
