History in the Pub. Learn a bit of history over a pint or glass after work! Eight Londoners is one our our most popular regular events of the year. Eight London Historians present eight favourite Londoners for eight minutes each and not a second longer! This year our subjects include Valerie Lady Meux, Jennifer Paterson, Vesta Victoria, Louisa Aldrich-Blake and four more, TBA. Our speakers include Joanna Moncrieff, Diane Burstein, Chris Everett, Tina Baxter, Peter Dodge. Curated by Mike Paterson. Presenting MC for the evening: Matt Brown PLUS: Chris Burton will run her charity book stall of London History books. London Historians Members only to start.
