Andy Buchan's music has been played by BBC 6 Music, Massive Attack's Daddy G and Horse Meat Disco, and the British National Library Sound Archive asked to add his back catalogue to their permanent collection. In 2020 he launched Hot Gorilla Records, and the label moved fast: Juno Download number ones, multiple Traxsource Top 10s, four tracks in Beatport's Best of 2021. It also earned Hot Gorilla the support slot on The Brand New Heavies' sell-out UK tour, the same band playing two new dates at Boisdale in 2027. Disco edits, funk-inflected house, Balearic cuts, on the 1st floor from 7pm.
