Little Lagos Kollective (LLK) presents: Bushman - WeAreiDyll Records in conversation with DaMystri1

Building Beyond Release Cycles. Every label tells a story. Few ask who benefits from it. Join DaMystri1 for a special Listening Lounge audio session with Bushman, founder of WeAreiDyll Records, as he unpacks the records that shaped his journey from Afro House enthusiast to architect of one of the scene's most purpose-driven independent platforms. It's not a career retrospective. It's a conversation about ownership, community, wellbeing, and what happens when music becomes a tool for something bigger than entertainment. Using a handpicked selection of records as guideposts, Bushman will reflect on the moments that defined him: discovering Afro House, navigating the realities of the music industry, building WeAreiDyll from the ground up, supporting artists beyond the release cycle, and creating new models centred on sustainability rather than dependency. The session will also explore the thinking behind iDyll Mind, an initiative born from a simple but radical idea: that music can support not only movement on the dancefloor, but reflection, healing, and care in everyday life. Expect stories rarely told in public, hard-earned lessons from the label business, defining records from key stages of Bushman's life, and an honest conversation about the future of Afro House and the communities that sustain it. For anyone interested in music, culture, creativity, or building something that lasts, this is an opportunity to hear the philosophy behind the platform and the person behind the vision.
