A runtime reference monitor that treats untrusted data as a fork in the road — APPA splits the trajectory into a disposable sandboxed sub-context, keeps the taint there, and pipes only a clean, schema-checked derivative back to the parent. 🎤 Speaker: Innokentii Konstaninov, Founding Engineer @ Archestra.ai Before Archestra, he spent four and a half years at Grafana Labs — via the acquisition of Amixr, the on-call alerting startup which became Grafana OnCall. There he rose to Staff Engineer, shipping core changes to Mimir and OnCall's alerting stack. Recently, he co-authored APPA, which is his current focus. Abstract: A run through of how Omnea utilised Lambda MicroVM's to solve the problem of local machine resource constraints in a multiple agent & worktree world whilst preserving a local machine developer experience. 🎤 Speaker: Ant McKane, Staff Platform Engineer @ Omnea Anthony is currently a Staff Engineer on the Platform team at Omnea. Helping to build an AI-native operating system for procurement and supplier management. Anthony works on the technical foundations that allow Omnea’s product teams to build and ship dependable software at scale. This includes the infrastructure, deployment and developer-platform capabilities. Before Omnea, he held engineering leadership roles at Spotlight, Orbital Witness and Hook. Abstract: Put a generative meal planning agent on the open internet, and someone will eventually try to cook pasta with gasoline. Lessons from the frontline of Tesco's meal planner — the eval pipelines, guardrails, and hard-won controls that kept the bot from recommending it. 🎤 Speaker: Kareem Hussein, AI Engineer @ Tesco and Co-founder and CTO @ Carbon Glance Kareem works on the technical foundations that allow Tesco's product teams to ship generative features safely at scale. This includes the inference platform, evaluation infrastructure, and runtime guardrails around what the meal planner is allowed to recommend. He is also the co-founder and CTO at Carbon Glance, building software to streamline CBAM compliance for businesses navigating the EU's carbon border adjustment mechanism.
