MMT FORUM 2026

A one-day gathering for MMT academics, activists and campaigners, organised by MMT UK and Resilient Economy. A lot of amazing work is happening across the UK. There are scores of fantastic MMT papers, posts and insights. An MMT community is building, and MMT LIVE brings it into one room. The day opens with a welcome from leading MMT figures and a quick-fire look at the UK's MMT ecosystem. Twelve presentations follow, selected through an open call for papers, covering: • bond market and institutional reform • inequality and austerity • climate breakdown • food and energy resilience After a keynote, we'll close the day by shaping a joint communications strategy for the movement in 2027, built from ideas gathered during the day. All presentations will be filmed and shared afterwards. Places are limited. Stay on for drinks from 18:00, followed by Pintonomics from 19:00 (booked separately). If you wish to answer our call for papers, please find the link during the booking process. We will select 10 papers to present to our audience.
