R&F Mo: Woandering

We are looking forward to presenting a solo exhibition of work by South London-based contemporary artist R&F Mo. Mo’s multi-faceted practice explores connections between the seen, the sensed and the dreamed. Spanning drawing, painting, printmaking, sewing, and sculpture, her imagery is inhabited by fantastical figures that navigate imaginary landscapes and multiple dimensions, whilst exploring the notion of identity. Performance is a constant thread that weaves through the artist’s practice. Theatrical enactments further bring to life her spirited protagonists’ curious meanderings with a sense of playfulness, and the hope of a brighter future. ‘Woandering’ – which is the title of the artist’s recently published book on drawing, as well as the exhibition - in Mo’s words, ‘unites the physical and mental states of a person in motion and thinking’ This will be Mo’s first solo exhibition in London.
