Retribution Alive: Dark Clouds Over Camden (Vth Anniversary)

Retribution Alive's 'Dark Clouds Vth Anniversary' (Dark Clouds Over Camden) once again casts its blackened shadows over Camden in February 2027. The Black Heart (evening - ticket required), the Dev (afternoon) and Raven Records (afternoon) will be your shelter on Saturday 6th February, with the Dev opening the dark proceedings on Friday 5th February. The dark clouds are coming... again... Saturday 6th February The Black Heart (upstairs - ticket required) HECATE ENTHRONED One of the UK underground's longest-running and most respected acts, HECATE ENTHRONED has been praised by the likes of Terrorizer for their "mixture of death metal aggression with black metal atmosphere" while New Noise Magazine declares them "an absolute must for fans of extreme gothic metal." Originally co-founded in Wales by guitarist Nigel Dennen in the mid-1990s, the band is dedicated to delivering their own brand of evil metal with little regard to politics or the trends of popular demand. The group's 1997 full-length, the Andy Sneap-produced 'The Slaughter Of Innocence, A Requiem For The Mighty' (Blackend Records), was a seminal release in the then-burgeoning orchestral black metal movement, and since then, five more studio outputs including their M-Theory Audio debut in 2019 with the 'Embrace Of The Godless Aeon' (HECATE ENTHRONED's first recording with vocalist Joe Stamps) and numerous live performances have firmly established the band as one of extreme metal's most important voices. https://www.facebook.com/Hecat... The Black Heart (downstairs - free entry) Heartlands DJ aftershow The Dev (free entry) OPPRESS. A black metal band from the UK. Depraved lyrics set to winding structures and bizarre rhythms. Un-cool, un-tight, unholy. https://oppress667.bandcamp.co... HIRAETH An atmospheric black metal band from North Wales, channeling the fierce and defiant spirit of Wales into a modern black metal soundscape. Drawing on the dramatic history and folklore of their native Wales, Hiraeth composes vast atmospheric black metal soundscapes which transport the listener to bygone eras and tales of savage resistance. Utilising a bilingual approach to songwriting, in which Welsh is the language of rebellion, the band look toward the struggles of the past to draw parallels and shed light on the problems facing modern day Wales. https://www.facebook.com/profi... + more Raven Records (free entry) TBA Friday 5th February The Dev (free entry) EVIL DUNGEON CRAWLER Old-school four piece black metal from Newcastle. https://www.facebook.com/profi... + more Other Retribution Alive events: https://linktr.ee/lostparadise...
