This Month's Panel: : Rochelle Shanté and Mervyn Reid-Nelson Our third Sassy Salon features a conversation with:Rochelle Shanté is a writer, producer, and early years educator. She is the creator of Maama Ssanyu, a children’s TV series teaching preschoolers in the diaspora their heritage language of Luganda. She has a background in PR, youth empowerment and coaching, working with clients such as Dove, V&A and O2 x Virgin Media, with storytelling being a common thread through her career. Rochelle is a huge fan of starting over, building a new career path for herself once every 3-5 years. She is a believer in continually questioning what success looks like, and creating work that uplifts and inspires others.Mervyn Reid-Nelson is a body confidence photographer based in London and the founder of You at Yours, a photography and coaching space helping people - especially women - find self-confidence without the use of Photoshop. Rather than focusing on traditional portraits, his work centres on making clients feel safe and helping them reclaim their bodies, an approach that's earned him the title of London's Best Boudoir Photographer three times over. Mervyn's work has been featured in Forbes, and he's collaborated with the likes of Jameela Jamil at her event Move For Your Mind.
