EMPTY / No.30 PROJECT — Solo Performance & Installation Japanese contemporary artist Tadashi Watanabe presents EMPTY / No.30 PROJECT, a one-day performance art and installation event at Art Hub Studios in London. Watanabe's practice explores the relationship between emptiness, space, the body, and transformation. Rather than treating an installation as a fixed object, he creates a space that becomes the starting point for a live action. During the event, Watanabe constructs an installation environment and then enters the space through performance. His physical actions alter, disrupt, and transform the environment, allowing the audience to witness the space changing through time. The work asks how an empty space can become a place of experience, and how the presence and movement of the human body can fundamentally change our perception of that space. EMPTY / No.30 PROJECT is part of Watanabe's ongoing international practice combining performance art and installation. Date: Thursday, 5 November 2026 Performance: 7:00 PM Venue: Art Hub Studios, Stanley St, London SE8 4BL Admission: Free Instagram: @tadashiwatanabe0358 @gobeyondempty
