LED BY EMMA DAVIDSON - A CONSERVATOIRE TRAINED WELSH JAZZ AND FOLK SINGER AND SONG WRITER. BLASUS CONSIST OF SIX OTHER MUSICIANS SUCCESSFULLY PLAYING ON THE UK JAZZ, FOLK AND ALTERNATIVE MUSIC SCENE. ALL MET THROUGH THIER MUSICAL STUDIES IN WALES THEY ARE ABLE TO SHOWCASE A UNIQUE SONIC SOUND BY UTILISING THE DIVERSITY OF THIER PLAYING AND MUSICAL STYLES. “Silk Fishes” is Blasus’ debut album due for release in early Autumn 2026. This album denies standard genre labelling by presenting a diverse soundscape, multi blending genres into emotional complex story telling. Capturing themes of loss of self idendity, love (or lack of), musical and personal exploration this album aims to take the listener through a period of reflection and self acceptance.
