Up from the Cellar with Tom Gearing | Cult Wines

Join us at the Cult Wines tasting table for an evening of great bottles, good food and better company. Up from the Cellar is a short dinner series. For each evening, the host goes down into the Cult Wines cellar and brings up the bottles they love most: favourite producers, favourite regions and a few surprises. They then share them with a small group of fellow wine lovers. After ten years at the Clockwork Building, we are preparing to move on. Before we go, we are opening the cellar one last time and pouring it across three evenings on our top floor, looking out over the Thames and the London skyline. Expect classics and mature bottles alongside bubbles, under-the-radar finds and up-and-coming regions and producers. Tom's line-up will be announced closer to the date. Your host Tom Gearing is co-founder and CEO of Cult Wines. He grew up travelling with his father to the Côte d'Or and Bordeaux, learning wine from the vineyard up, and has since built Cult Wines into a global business with offices across the UK, North America and Asia Pacific. He leans towards chardonnay and pinot noir, but his most memorable bottles include Petrus 1961 in magnum, Liger-Belair La Romanée 2009 and Leroy Richebourg 2003.
