Willow Marler: She it. They it. Sorted. (WIP)

At the start of 2023, Willow saw something that didn’t look right, so she spoke to staff and texted the British Transgender Police on 58008 (that spells boobs upside down by the way). Three and a half years later, she’s here to tell you all about the euphoria, dysphoria, and just plain phoria of coming out as a transfem non-binary person. Through self-deprecating storytelling and silly wordplay, explore what it means for someone to feel like a woman when they can be bothered to, as Willow explains the arduous process of changing her name (it’s actually dead easy), getting shot in the face (at a salon with a laser), and how her transition journey mirrors that of Tottenham Hotspur (that’s a football club apparently). Winner of G&B Comedy’s New Act Competition and Beat the Frog; semi-finalist of Clap Back to Reality, Derby New Act of the Year, and Creatures Comedian of the Year; and upcoming finalist of Queerovision Series 5. “Willow Marler’s routine is a delight to watch. It’s sharp, witty, and intelligent comedy – somehow, she envelops the room in a delicate bubble of emotional vulnerability, then swiftly bursts it with a killer punchline in one effortless sweep.” – Punktastic WITH SUPPORT FROM ANNA GRAY Anna Gray is a twenty-something comedian doing everything for the plot. She is baffled by adulting and her stand up explores this. Expect energetic, chaotic stories with a high gag count. Opener for Romesh Ranganathan, Slap&Giggle Audience Favourite, and upcoming finalist of Queerovision Series 5.
