Reveal at the end. *About Behind the Notes* The Beauty Gateway is bringing together 20 fragrance lovers for an evening designed to take fragrance back to the experience of simply smelling it. We'll begin with our mystery fragrance completely blind. What do you notice first? What does it remind you of? How does it make you feel? And does the person sitting next to you experience it completely differently? There are no right answers, and you definitely don't need to be a fragrance expert. Behind the Notes is about curiosity, conversation and discovering a scent before the name, notes or hype have a chance to influence what you think. As the evening unfolds, we'll explore the fragrance in a few different ways before finally revealing what you've been smelling — and the story behind it. *What to expect* Blind fragrance discovery — Meet the mystery scent with no clues. Take your time, trust your nose and compare what you discover with everyone around you. A layering experience — Discover a pairing chosen to bring out a different side of the mystery fragrance and see how layering can change the way a scent feels. Candle-making with Dai-KOR — Get creative and make your own candle to take home with you. Good scent, good conversation — Enjoy a welcome drink and light finger food, meet fellow fragrance lovers and spend an evening talking about topics we all love. *And then… the reveal* Later in the evening, we'll finally introduce you properly to the fragrance you've been getting to know — the name, the notes and the story behind the scent. And if it turns out to be love at first sniff, full-size bottles will be available to purchase separately on the night.
