This workshop is aimed at those in funeral ministry and those training and supporting others in ministry. Whose funeral is it? Who is it for? How do we respond to practices suchas ‘Aquamation’ and Direct Cremation? An opportunity to explore emerging practices and issues in funerals in Great Britain with: Professor Douglas Davies, Director in the Centre for Death and Life Studies, Durham University; Rev Dr John Lampard, Methodist Minister, Author of Go Forth, Christian Soul; Bishop Tim Menezes, Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham; Members of The Joint Liturgical Group of Great Britain.
