GONG AFTER DARK is a small-group gong bath for women, held in my beautiful home in Holloway, North London, with just three places each evening. I'm Emma, a sound and gong bath practitioner and founder of Prism of Sound. I've created these evenings as a more personal and unhurried way to experience the gongs — a small gathering with time to arrive, get comfortable and simply receive. At the heart of the experience are the gongs. Rich in layers, tones and vibration, their sound can become deeply absorbing — giving the thinking mind something else to follow and creating space for a quieter, more inward state to emerge. Around the gongs, I weave Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, my voice, chimes, ambient sound and gentle percussion to create an immersive soundscape that moves between depth, spaciousness and silence. We'll begin with a short grounding meditation before the sound journey. There's nothing you need to do, achieve or get right. You may find yourself following the sound, drifting in and out of thought, noticing sensations or imagery, or simply resting. Every experience is different. And because this happens in the evening, there's nowhere you need to rush back to afterwards. When the final sounds fade, we'll take our time coming back, with optional grounding touch followed by herbal tea and a little space to share if you feel like it. The gathering is intentionally kept to just three women — small enough to feel spacious, personal and comfortable, and to give each person room to experience the evening in their own way. Your Facilitator My work explores sound, energy and vibration as pathways into deeper connection with ourselves — inviting us to slow down, turn inward and notice what may be asking to emerge. I hold a Diploma in Sound Therapy from the Sound Healing School UK and have undertaken specialist gong training with Aidan McIntyre in the Don Conreaux lineage. I'm also currently studying for a Diploma in Drum Healing with the College of Sound Healing. Across my work with gongs, bowls, voice, drum, music and energy, I'm interested in creating experiences that allow us to step outside the noise of everyday life and reconnect with something quieter and more authentic within. Before you come No previous experience of sound baths, meditation or any other practice is needed. Please wear something comfortable that you can easily lie down in and bring a bottle of water. Mats, blankets and everything else you need to get cosy will be provided. The space is one minute's walk from Holloway Road station and around 10 minutes' walk from Highbury & Islington station. As this is a small private venue, the full address isn't published publicly. You'll receive the exact address and arrival instructions after booking.
