Music Matters - Speed Networking for the Music Industry

No industry panel. No one to pitch to. Just the music industry, meeting each other properly. Most music industry nights in London are about access. A room full of artists hoping to catch an A&R, a manager, a playlister. This one isn't that. Music Matters is speed networking for the creative side of the industry (artists, producers, engineers, songwriters, videographers, photographers, designers, managers) the people who actually MAKE the art. How it works: You get a sticker on arrival where you write down your name and role, that way we cut out the small talk. Then, structured rounds, five minutes each, and you rotate. Everyone meets everyone. No hovering at the edge of a group waiting for a gap in the conversation. What comes out of that? Perhaps a collaboration. Someone to mix your next song. A videographer who's actually good. Someone dropping the same month as you who'll push it alongside yours. Rounds run for about an hour and a half, then it opens up and you chase whatever came out of it. £5 per ticket. First drink is on us. Run by the team behind Release Assist.
