Rubato!

A roster of musicians share, play and improvise off the works of legendary standards. For those yearning for the intimacy of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts and MTV’s Unplugged... Rubato is new monthly concert series with intimacy, craft and exploration at the centre featuring a revolving roster of musicians seen up close and personal. This collaboration project between Ghaifè-Agatha y’Sohnt-Nash and Solana Talenti is a space for musicians and audiences to explore their own intimate relationship to their instrument and practice, cross through musical disciplines and genre bending styles, and improvise off the works of legendary standards. This event is for those who paw over the same 12 second extract of a song for 20 minutes or melt to old live sets of your favourites at one-in-the-morning, or for those who are at the beginning of their exposure to capital ‘M’, Music. An offshoot of South London based charity concert series “Recitals Against” by artist and musician y’Sohnt, Rubato will grow into an exciting and open evening of brimming conversation and incredible music in an atmosphere only the Red Sun Moon can bring - come see us on the 29th of October to exchange, invent and perform ⭐️💐
