Serotonin Open Mic Night

An evening of voices, words and music from the Serotonin family. Join us for the Serotonin Open Mic Night! An evening of poetry, music, storytelling and everything in between. This is a space to share something you have been working on, try something new, or simply sit back and enjoy the talent in the room. We'll also have open decks after the open mic performances, so if you want to get behind them and play a set, the floor is yours. Whether you are a seasoned performer or stepping up for the very first time, there is room for you here. Message the organiser when you book so we can add you to the line up. Performers get in free, so grab your £5 ticket, fill in the form when you register, and we'll refund you once you're confirmed on the line up. Accessibility The entrance to the bookshop is 90cm wide. The entrance to the bar is 100cm wide. The ground floor is completely wheelchair accessible, with no steps or slopes. ​​​ THE PERFORMANCES FOR THIS EVENT ARE LOCATED ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Please note open decks will be held downstairs, which unfortunately does not have wheelchair access. ​ Wheelchair accessible toilets are available. ​ Common Press is a dog-friendly business. Service animals of any kind are welcome across the site. ​ ​ About Serotonin Serotonin is a POC centred grassroots collective based in the UK. A safe haven for community, education, and support within queer, kink, and ethical non monogamy (ENM) circles. It's a space to connect, learn, explore identity and relationships freely, and be seen without judgment through care, curiosity, and shared growth. This is a POC only event.
