Soothing Sunday: Yin, Rest & Sound

Take time out to truly unwind, release and receive. Held in the beautiful Yoga Rocks Studio, you’ll be welcomed into a cocoon of comfort designed to melt tension and bring your whole system back into balance. Restorative Yin Yoga Deeply restorative Yin Yoga with guided breath. A slow and therapeutic practice, where floor-based stretches are held for 3-5 minutes. This allows the body to slowly release and unwind. This style of yoga is a great way to improve flexibility, joint health and circulation and to free deeply held tension in the body and mind. This practice is open to all levels and bodies, you don’t have to be bendy! Sound Bath with Lee Through the healing tones of tibeten bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, and other instruments, you’ll be gently guided into a meditative state where your body can relax, your mind can quieten, and your spirit can realign. The frequencies will work on a cellular level, helping to clear stagnant energy and restore your natural harmony. There will also be the option to write or reflect, a space to release, or capture anything that surfaces during the yin yoga and sound bath. I have become aware of the healing potential of yoga through both personal experience and observation of others. Alongside that I guide Kemetic Yoga classes and Sound Healing sessions. In 2016 I was drawn towards Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation as a way to relax and rehabilitate my body as well as regulate my mental and emotional well being. After qualifying as a Kemetic Yoga teacher in 2023, I continue to enjoy taking a holistic approach to health. I integrate yogic tools and mindfulness into my sessions with my players as well guide sessions within the wider community.
