It's all about making colorful, creative collages that capture those childhood memories which we all cherish. Bring your favorite photos, magazines, or personal mementos and let's make something special and memorable together. This is a perfect chance to connect, reflect and produce your own unique and visual story. No experience needed—just a love for art and a therapeutic experience. We are now onto our eleventh monthly event and enjoying the journey. On Sunday 27th September from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, upstairs at The Vine, NW5 1PB, we’ll spend a playful afternoon cutting, layering, and assembling wonderful and nostalgic collage creations in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Using a rich mix of coloured paper, fabrics, found imagery, and recycled screenprinted images, feel free to experiment, juxtapose and think outside the box. Open to all ages and with no experience needed, this is a chance to make, unwind, and enjoy the social and therapeutic benefits of creating together. With our guidance, you will be exploring the many facets of collage as an art form, cutting, tearing, layering and composition. Free yourself up and let accidents become inspirational, utilise your ideas and intuition, then create a magnificent and individual art piece, or two, to take home. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring any magazines, textiles, books or old memorabilia along.
