Visit to Verulamium - Roman St Albans

We will explore why the city was such a success and why it is so well preserved – and why it changed its name! As well as exploring Roman St Albans this visit will take in the Roman theatre, the best preserved in Britain, plus a guided tour of the museum for splendid mosaics, skeletons and much more. She has taught in London schools and for the Open University, Birkbeck College, Arts and Humanities Society, City Lit and the WEA.
