Where Agave Meets Whisky - Tasting Experience with Los Catadores de Agave

A guided tasting exploring the flavours, contrasts and connections between tequila, mezcal and whisk(e)y. What happens when agave meets whisk(e)y? Join us for a guided tasting hosted by Moses (Los Catadores de Agave) alongside Kealan, (Mangrove’s World Whisky Ambassador), exploring the flavours, contrasts and unexpected connections between two distinct spirit worlds. Across five pours, we’ll move through tequila, mezcal and whisk(e)y, exploring everything from unaged agave and traditional production to barrel ageing, different grains and the influence of wood. Whether you’re an agave lover, whisky drinker or simply curious about both, expect plenty of flavour, conversation and a few surprises along the way. What to expect: • Welcome cocktail • 2 agaves (tequila and mezcal) & 2 whiskies • Guided tasting hosted by Moses & Kealan • Discussion on flavour, production, ageing and the parallels between the categories • Q&A • 🎃 Halloween fancy dress encouraged, best dressed wins a bottle
