David Lindo - 20 Years as the Urban Birder

Join us for a fascinating (and entertaining) evening with The Urban Birder himself, David Lindo! David Lindo is an award-winning writer, broadcaster, tour leader and birder who has spent his life encouraging others to notice nature in urban areas through the medium of birds. A BBC Springwatch regular, it has been 20 years since David first appeared on our TV screens to tell the world about his beloved local patch - Wormwood Scrubs. A lot has happened since and he has a few stories to tell! Attendees will have the chance to participate in a Q&A after the talk and to buy Urban Birder merchandise, as well as artwork created by the Local Group members. This promises to be a fascinating talk and marks the first indoor event held by the new RSPB Manchester Local Group following on from their successful fundraising events for Dove Stone reserve. Doors at 7pm, start at 7.30.
