Care-Led Co-Creation Symposium

Join the Still Care project team for a day of shared learning, creative approaches and practical resources rooted in care-led co-creation. Connected to The Labour of Care, an exhibition shaped by the experiences of midwives and maternity healthcare professionals, this event opens up some of the thinking, relationships and methods behind the project. Through a mix of conversation, sharing and creative activity, the sessions will explore what it means to work with care in participatory settings. Together, we will consider how artists, producers, healthcare professionals and participants can build processes that feel meaningful, supportive and responsive to lived experience. Hear a series of short, lively contributions from those involved in the project, including Producer Lucy Turner, Curator Imogen Holmes-Roe, Hospital Partner Victoria Holmes, Counsellor Samantha Phillis, Evaluator Dr Dena Baji and Film Producer Andy Hardman, alongside project participants and artists. Together, they will share insights into their roles, the project’s impact, and the challenges and opportunities that have emerged through making space for personal reflection, creative response and wider conversations about care.
