Join Rachel of Swallow Sound for an intimate Christmas evening, while helping to raise support for Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS), Charity Number 1120983. What is a gong bath? A gong bath is a deeply relaxing experience in which you remain fully clothed, lying or sitting comfortably while the sounds and vibrations of the gongs surround you. The resonance and vibration of the gongs, together with periods of silence, wash over and through you. For many people, this creates a deeply restful, meditative experience and a chance to step away from the demands of everyday life. You do not need any meditation experience, and there is no right or wrong way to experience a gong bath. Simply get comfortable, close your eyes if you wish, and listen. The evening 7.00pm – Welcome and introduction Rachel will welcome you and introduce the evening, followed by a short introduction to TDAS and the work they do. There will be an opportunity to make a donation and buy raffle tickets. 7.30–9.00pm – Christmas gong bath A 90-minute gong bath with Swallow Sound. 9.00–10.00pm – Christmas refreshments and raffle Relax, chat and enjoy your small Christmas gift bag including light refreshments, and a little more time to soak up the atmosphere of The Chambers. There will be a further opportunity to donate, and the raffle will be drawn at approximately 9.30pm. Supporting Trafford Domestic Abuse Services This event is raising support for Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS), a local charity supporting people and families affected by domestic abuse.
