GATHER@ EXHIBITION | FILM | LIVE MUSIC WITH FREEQUENCY3 (FREE ENTRY)

Join us at Horse & Bamboo on Saturday 24 October to celebrate the first year of gather@ with photography, film and live music. Our first festival in June brought more than 35 artists to 10 venues across Rossendale, with seven free events, three sold-out Horse & Bamboo headline shows and a 60% female-led programme. The exhibition brings together photographs of the artists and performances from that weekend. You’ll find images of Muireann Bradley, Blossom Caldarone, John Bramwell, YAANG, and Lily Rae Grant including a specially commissioned portrait of fellow performer FREEQUENCY3. Manchester rapper and vocalist FREEQUENCY3 returns for two short live performances at 2pm and 3.30pm, bringing alternative hip-hop, personal storytelling and improvisation. We’ll also be showing our film, Into the Valley, exploring how gather@ began and the story behind its first year. Whether you joined us in June or are finding out about gather@ for the first time, it would be lovely to see you. SATURDAY 24 OCTOBER 2026 Exhibition and film: 10am–4pm FREEQUENCY3 live: 2pm & 3.30pm Free entry Horse & Bamboo 679 Bacup Road Waterfoot BB4 7HB We recommend arriving 30 mins before the performances to explore the exhibition, watch some of the film and get yourself a drink. If you’re able to make an optional contribution towards gather@ 2027, we’d really appreciate it. Your support will help us bring more live music to independent venues across Rossendale and create opportunities for local and emerging artists. Thank you for helping us build on what we started in June.
